Nov 2013 – University of Ghana Launches UG CRUZ-CARD
The University of Ghana (UG), in collaboration with MakYoung Limited, officially launched the New UG ID Card dubbed the UG CRUZ-CARD in Accra.
The identity card, which is also a Visa-enabled prepaid card, access control card, and a library card for students and staff of the institution, seeks to eliminate cash handling as well as eliminate the carrying of multiple cards.
The new identity card will provide students the opportunity to access information and transact business across the globe.
